Gamble Cottage & Garden

Gamble Cottage is be open to visitors who have an interested in the history of Coromandel Valley and neighbouring areas that were once part of that locality.

There are lots of historic items and photographs on display and volunteers will be on hand to shed light on the history of the cottage and to share the National Trust's research into Coromandel Valley's:

o  Pioneer families (ask about the Family Name List),

o  Land division and acquisition,

o  The area's oldest buildings,

Gamble Cottage Garden is exquiste and features many old and now uncommon plant species. Maintained by a dedicated Friends group, the garden is a delight to explore and to enjoy afternoon tea..

Winns  Bakehouse Museum offers an insight into the area's early commercial activities and will also be open on the third Sunday of each month.
