Coromandel Community Centre is the perfect place for your next event, child's birthday, Christmas or other family celebration. It is adjacent to a small Children's Playground and in the stunning environment of a tree-lined oval. Please phone us on 8370 6880 to find out more!
Our Centre is now a member of this fantastic children's program, an Australia-wide organisation to encourage children and youth to participate in all kinds of activities offered by schools, clubs and other community organisations. To find out how you can participate in, and receive recognition for, the many activities you might be participating in, please view the Children's University website at
https://www.adelaide.edu.au/childrensuniversity/
The Centre runs Adult Art classes on Wed & Thurs mornings. Talent abounds, carefully nurtured by experienced art teacher, Peter. An interesting and successful exhibition of their work was held at the Centre during June.
ACH Active Seniors meet here on 1st, 3rd & 5th Mondays of each month, to enjoy activities, morning tea, lunch, and social connection. Phone Karen Beeching on 1300 224 477 if you are interested.
Are you a reader? Coromandel Community Centre has set up its own Little Free Library. You will find it at the carpark edge of the Weymouth Oval near a lovely bench (perfect for warm weather reading!) The idea behind this is to take a book and/or leave a book that you feel others might enjoy, children too!
This is a great time to explore Coromandel Valley on foot!
Fabulous scenery, native fauna, heritage buildings – there's something to appeal to all ages.
Have a look at the website for the Coromandel Valley & Districts National Trust.

The Community Centre is a volunteer based organisation which means the person you talk to regarding hire of the facility, when you book into a program or the person who welcomes you at the front desk, are all volunteers. Their commitment, dedication and willingness to assist, helps make the Coromandel Community Centre an invaluable resource for the community.
If you have a hobby that you would like to share with others we would love you to start up a group. We have various day and evening times available for you to facilitate a fun ongoing program or a one off workshop.
For details on our Volunteer program please contact the Centre.
