Our Centre

Our Centre

A non-profit organisation, Coromandel Community Centre Inc., is run by a Board of Management (BOM) comprised of interested volunteers from the local community. The Board meets regularly to plan and make decisions concerning the facility.

The Community Development Officer (CDO) and Community Development Support Officer (CDSO) develop, design and manage programs and events within financial guidelines to support and interest all levels of our local community, carry out internal and external liaison activities, and manage volunteers.

Day-to-day office procedures, general liaison with Centre participants, and some general tidiness in and around the Centre, are carried out by volunteers from the local community under guidance from the CDO and CDSO, while major matters are the responsibility of the Board and Onkaparinga Council.
