Coromandel Community Centre hosts, or is the venue for, a broad range programs. You are welcome to investigate what is on offer by scrolling down the list below, or you can shorten your search by using the drop-down selection bar and choosing the category of interest to you. Programs may appear in more than one category, e.g. For Adults and Mondays.

Mindfulness & Meditation
Beginning Wednesday 6 September (1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month)
7-8pm
Experience & learn practices through guided meditation, that can support good health and a sense of well-being, in an inclusive and judgement-free space, facilitated by Rebecca and her team of registered nurses from SGN Wellness.
An open-minded discussion group will follow, for those interested, between 8-9pm, at an additional cost of $5.

Dungeons & Dragons Club (for 10-17year olds)

Zumba
Tuesdays, 7pm to 8pm
Making fitness fun - that's Zumba! Join Kelly, a passionate and fully-qualified instructor, who has created routines to make fitness enjoyable.

POUND Group Fitness Program
Tuesdays 6 - 6.45pm
Join the band for a unique form of full-body high-tempo workout using drumming sticks to rocking music. Toning, strength and cardio.

Coro Connections Book Club
Last Friday of the month
10.45am to 12.30pm
This is a social group for people who love a good book and enjoy sharing their interpretations of it and hearing those of others. Book selection made by the group. Bulk-borrowed from the Public Library system.

CoroAlive! Social Group
Third Friday of each month.
Varying excursions, experiences, times and costs each month.
Everyone is welcome to join this self funded, active group which uses public transport and shared driving to go exploring as tourists in their own town. A lunch venue (at own cost) is usually organised as part of the outing.

Bridge
Thursdays
1pm to 4pm
Bridge is a popular card game played with a 52 card deck, by teams of two pairs who utilise tactics, communication and memory to outdo their opponents.
New members (beginners and more experienced players) are welcome to join this social group.

Outdoor Only Playgroup
Thursdays
9.30am to 11.00am
Outdoor, nature-based fun.
Parents share in setting up and packing up.
Consider the weather when dressing to attend.

Art for Adults

Explore a range of artistic techniques and enjoy open discussion. All abilities welcome.
Sessions are led by an experienced artist/art teacher.
Tea and Twine

This group is run by its participants, who have a love of fibres, fabrics, yarns, and good company, while sharing ideas, techniques, experience and knowledge over a cuppa.
New members, beginner or skilled, are all welcome.

Strength for Life

Start your day with us! Run by accredited instructors, Strength for Life promotes well-being for those aged 50+.
Participants will have individually-tailored strength and fitness programs to work through in a social group setting.
New participants welcome.

Baby Sensory
Mondays
Various session times between 10am and 2pm
These classes will introduce babies from newborn to 13 months to a world of sensory delights.

After school art class for children, in which they'll be able to explore different mediums in a fun and creative environment.

An opportunity for men to interact socially with their peers over breakfast.

Walk and Talk

Head to the Centre and join this friendly group for a Heart Foundation weekly walk around our beautiful hills environment.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Tea and coffee provided.

Adult Table Tennis

Get active, meet new people and have some fun in a friendly environment.

Art in Focus

This is one of range of social activities that ACH Group offers where you can meet new people, learn new skills or revitalise past ones.
No experience or prior knowledge is required to get involved – it’s all about getting creative while engaging with a friendly, supportive group and living a good life.

Whatever your age or fitness level, you can enjoy the companionship of other locals while exploring our local area.

Developed in China in the 19th Century, Mahjong is an absorbing game played with tiles that is now popular throughout the world.
