Knitting for Beginners

Learn the art of knitting, in a social environment, facilitated by an experienced tutor, who will guide you through the basics of this fun and creative hobby or pastime, while learning about yarn, needles, basic stitches, and patterns.

By the end of the four sessions, you will have completed a simple scarf.

Botanical Silk Embroidery

Thursdays 7, 14, 21 & 28 September

7pm - 9pm

Learn how to do silk ribbon and beading embroidery on a knitted background. Use simple techniques to embroider different plants and insects, while creating colour and other visually appealing elements to provide texture and depth to your completed art piece.

Guided by an experienced facilitator, with a wealth of knowledge about her craft.

Boys & BBQs

Wednesdays - 2, 16, 30 August & 6 September 2023.

6 - 8.30pm

$40 per family, pre-paid for all sessions.

Boys, join your dad (or grandfather, uncle, or other significant father-figure), get your BBQ apron on, and have fun learning new BBQ skills and menu planning. This program will be run by an experienced chef/facilitator, with all food supplied, in a program supported by a local Onkaparinga program, Cooking & Connection, which aims to increase cooking confidence.

Led by an experienced Dungeon Master, you can learn or expand your knowledge of this creative and social strategy game, while developing your character and pit your game skills against others.

CoroAlive! Social Group

Third Friday of each month.
Varying excursions, experiences, times and costs each month. 

Everyone is welcome to join this self funded, active group which uses public transport and shared driving to go exploring as tourists in their own town. A lunch venue (at own cost) is usually organised as part of the outing.
